The garbage collection contractor for the District, GFL Environmental, has informed the District it will start collection routes today (Friday, February 4, 2022) about 2 hours later due to the inclement weather and possible icy conditions throughout the night.
GFL is anticipating being able to complete the scheduled service but may be in the community later than usual.
If there are any other delays or instances of service not being completed, GFL will let the District know along with the plan for service on Saturday morning, if needed, and the District will post an update on its website.
