Stage 1 – Mild Drought

Dear Residents:

The North Fort Bend Water Authority (NFBWA) has requested that all Munipical Utility Districts within it’s boundaries voluntarily reduce their water usage.

Residents and other users are asked to limit the irrigation of landscaped areas as follows:

  • Even-numbered addresses irrigate on Sundays and Thursdays between the hours of midnight and 10:00am and 8:00pm and midnight.
  • Odd-numbered addresses irrigate on Saturdays and Wednesday between the hours of midnight and 10:00am and 8:00pm and midnight.

It is important that everyone do their part to reduce the use of water during peak demand. The bulk of water consumption in most communities is for irrigation and other outdoor uses. Please ensure that your irrigation systems are leak free.

Trash Collection Services Update

To Our Customers in Cinco MUD 14:

We would like to provide a quick update on our services. We are proud to say that the recent Omicron COVID wave appears to be behind us at this point. We were unfortunately struck with a surge of absences in December and January, notoriously the time of year when we are collecting our heaviest volumes. Notably, this surge peaked for us just after Christmas.

Driver absenteeism by week due to COVID protocol (excluding scheduled absences) was as follows:

  • Week of 12/27-1/1: 10%
  • Week of 1/3-1/8: 10%
  • Week of 1/10-1/15: 7%
  • Week of 1/17-1/22: 4%
  • Week of 1/24-1/29: 2%

We would like to reiterate our commitment to consistent service times and schedules. We apologize for any recent delays, and we thank you for your understanding while we navigate these unique times. We would like to reiterate that we do feel we are past this wave and look forward to continuing forward on our regular schedule.

The Board meets the fourth Wednesday of each month at the offices of Allen Boone Humphries Robinson LLP, 3200 Southwest Freeway, Suite 2400, Houston, Texas 77027. Meetings generally begin at 11:00 a.m. and are open to the public. The Board welcomes and encourages District residents to attend.
