Cinco MUD 10 Approves Revised Water & Sewer Rates to Support Conservation and Rising Service Costs
The Board of Directors of Cinco Municipal Utility District No. 10 (the “District”) approved an amended Rate Order at the Board’s regular monthly meeting held May 21, 2025, with new rates reflected in the June 2025 billing cycle. In addition to covering usage up to 10,000 gallons, the base rates include certain fixed costs that the District incurs regardless of usage, such as the costs for garbage collection services, currently provided through the District by Best Trash. The revised water and sewer rate structure was presented and approved to encourage water conservation and to account for upcoming capital expenditures, including an increase in the cost of garbage and recycling collection services. The Board will continue to monitor rates to ensure that they are appropriate.

Trash Information
- Barrington Park and North Lake Village: Tuesday and Friday
- Greenway Village, Meadow Green and Meadow Place: Monday and Thursday
Heavy Trash Collection
Same day as trash collection. Limited to no more than two large items at a time.
Recycle Collection
- Barrington Park and North Lake Village: Tuesday
- Greenway Village, Meadow Green and Meadow Place: Monday
Holidays
There is no garbage or recycling collection service on:
- New Year’s Day*
- Memorial Day *
- Independence Day (4th of July)
- Labor Day*
- Thanksgiving Day*
- Christmas Day*
If your GARBAGE service day falls on a holiday, it will be collected on your next regularly scheduled trash service day. If your RECYCLE day falls on a holiday, it will be collected on your next regularly schedule recycle day.
